Preparing Your RV For Spring Checklist

There are many maintenance tasks to tackle before your RV is ready for spring travel. It can be tough keeping track of the many little projects, so we created the following checklist to help you stay organized. Follow the below guide to get your RV ready to hit the road in no time.

Check the Integrity of the RV

The first step is to look over the integrity of your RV. Check the roof for cracking seams or worn-away sealant and check the corners and sidewalls for any holes or gaps. You want to uncover any issues before you spray your RV with water.

Check the Tires

You’ll want to check the tires of your RV and tow vehicle (if your RV needs to be towed). First, make sure there are no cracks or other damage on your tires. Next, make sure the tires have enough tread. Finally, measure the air pressure and compare the results to the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Check Your Emergency Kit

Look over the fire extinguishers in your RV and make sure they are not expired. Check your first aid kit for any missing supplies or expired medications. Make sure you have all the emergency supplies you need for your next RV trip. You likely won’t need them, but it’s important to be prepared for whatever the open road throws your way.
